Friends....with/without the benefits!



So I am at a quandry today. Well actually have been at this quandry for a little while now, just keep putting it off. How many of you do that, keep putting things off that REALLY should be dealt with?

I am at a point in my life where I need to make decisions on the people in my life. Who are true friends and who are there for the benefits. I mean lets face it, aren't we all in a friendship for one reason or another?

I am not looking for anything from my friends but their hearts. Their ears to listen. Their hearts for the compassion and love. Their smiles. Sense of humor.

But sometimes people cross over the lines. They see their own set of lines instead of the ones that are their in black & white....they have their own grey dotted lines.

I have a hard time hurting other peoples feelings. I am the one person that lets others push her around. Tell her what to do. Gets walked on. And continues to be the good friend. I can't say no. But sometimes YOU have to stand up. YOU have to put a hand up and say STOP! YOU have to lay down the rules.

I am your friend. I love all my friends. But at this point in my life I have nobody that I love as a lover. NOBODY.....NOONE.....
I am a woman who is on a quest to my destiny. Is it someone in my life at this time? Is it someone I may have just met? Talking to now? Maybe I have yet to meet. But they are there, and I will find them at my own pace. Please understand that I am single. I am free to make my own choices. I do not answer to anyone but myself, my and to the Good Lord Above. If I choose to go screw some guy so be it (I don't but it would be my choice). If I choose to stay out all night, my choice. Please respect me.
