The little things that count

I thought my day started kinda shitty, was up way too early, ex paid me a visit, words were said that are regretful now. Its hard to let go sometimes, maybe that's why we search for friends, a sorta diversion to keep time occupied, make us feel good for a little while but reality is we have to come back home. I do have great friends that I chat on MSN with but how can you really say what your feeling cause are they really your friends?? You like to think so but they certainly didn't sign up for my dramatized life. I always try to smile and be a friend but am I outta line to expect that back? Maybe its selfish, I dunno really. I do have a friend that seems to know when my day is stressful and he always makes an effort to text me to make me smile, sometimes its just those little things that count
If it was good, its great but if it was bad then you call that experience
