Friday's final thoughts It was pretty busy at work yesterday, didn't get home till after 10, was all wound up so of course I didn't sleep well and I have another long day today. Its kinda a thinking day for me today cause of an email I received from a co-worker yesterday. It was nice to hear from him but the big bang is he was doing it from a hospital bed. The diagnosis is only a few short months. He wanted to relay to me what a pleasure it had been working with me, of course he would not be returning but wanted to thank me for taking the time to chat with him (these workers are away from home for weeks at a time) for the smiles and laughs, he went on to say I'm an inspiration as a friend and co-worker. He has no regrets in his life, was not giving up and with the help from his beautiful wife, he has a lot to stick around for. Of course after drying my eyes I emailed him back that I would pray for him everyday and hopefully my prayers would be answered. We see people come and go everyday whether its cause their not satisfied with their job or just couldn't do it but when we see them go cause their fighting for their life, it makes us realize how short life really is.  If it was good, its great but if it was bad then you call that experience E-4-N |

It is hard when someone you care about is having difficulties, even harder when it's their life. Hang in there.  Save a horse............
