What do you cuddle at night?

What do you cuddle at night?

A recent survey has found that 31% of adults, still go to bed at night with a cuddly toy of some description, from their childhood!
I was just wondering if anyone on here, still has a favorite toy/ bear/whatever & weather:-
A. It goes to bed with you every night?
B. Stays close to hand, on the bedside cabinet, watching over you as you sleep?
C. Has caused major arguments with the other half, as the teddy seems to be loved by you, more than they are?
D. Have had a partner choosing to cuddle their smelly old toy, rather than snuggle up to you?
What would also be fun to find out is, who has the oldest teddy on here & if anyone has a funny story along these lines?

Sad to say, I have no cuddly toys from my childhood. They were all left in England when we moved out here, as there was no room for them.

Would rather have a partner to cuddle any day, but it would have been nice to have at least one teddy, or my gollywog from my childhood. Have been looking at gollywogs (can't call them that anymore here), but none will fit the bill, not even close.

Only pillows here, but my youngest girl has my old Teddy(and you can work out how old that is today), a panda bear, looking down on her from the top of the wardrobe. X

Hi T

How are you these days. I just looked in to see if any of my friends are still here and am delighted to see you and M going strong.

Things are going great here, not a minute to spare and I hope all is good with you.

See you again sometime.

Jim

I also cuddle my pillow, as the cat sometimes gets squashed when I roll over in the night!

You're not allowed to call them that, full stop, as the political police have said so!
No longer have any of mine either, as they stayed in Oz when we came back.
I sometimes get the cat to cuddle, but most of the time it's the pillow!

It seems that a pillow of some description is winning at the moment.
You said about the 2 toys you have, but what you didn't say was how old are they?

Happy birthday panda.
You have already had your birthday greeting off of me today, but you didn't tell me it was his birthday as well!
The pillow is winning, but so far, you have the oldest cuddly toy.

There's no real answer to that one really, is there?

Yes, as you can tell, nothing great has happened to me or sis to drag us away from here.
So nice to see you back & I'm sure sis will feel the same!
That is, if you are back for a while.
Hope to catch up soon.

I know how you feel.
Maybe you should do what the rest of us have taken up doing, in the absence of a lover to cuddle up to!
Try a pillow.
It seems to be the most used replacement in bed, at the moment.

So is the weasel some sort of reflection of your personality?
Just seems a strange sort of stuffed toy to have.
But than again I can't talk, I have stuffed dragon, which sits on top of my tv from my sister on here.
So how old is the weasel?

I still have my Teddy Bear from when I was little boy but I don’t sleep with it...I out grew that some 3 or 4 years ago. I much prefer the warm bodied kind that will snuggle back.

Well so far, if you got your teddy not long after you were born, is the oldest!
I know some men buy themselves a flash car or a motorbike when they hit their mid-life crisis, but I'm glad that yours, was to stop sleeping with your teddy!
We all would prefer something warm bodied next to us in bed, but unfortunately, that's not always possible!

I have a koala from when I was small as well, little Herby!
My cat is the opposite to yours, at the moment.
As we are having extremely cold weather, she like to use me as her own personal, 'hot water human'!
