Why are we here?

Why are we here? I'm curious to know why some of you are here. For me personally I enjoy meeting new people who have the same open mind as myself. Sex is never a first priority, I prefer being a person's friend first before any sex is involved. Some of you may be here for the same reasons as myself. Others may not, and even a few still are here for the absolute wrong reasons. If you think your here for the wrong reasons I recommend visiting wikipedia and looking up sexual addiction. I also recommend reading Are you a Sex Addict for more information. There is help out there for you all you have to do is reach out for it and accept that you have a problem.  V      |

Interesting question. I initially signed up after my relationship of 4 years went south. The thinking was that I still liked sex, but didn't want the vulnerability of a relationship. Now that my head is screwed on a little better I realize it doesn't really work that way, so now I'm really just here for the blogs. It is really interesting to see other peoples view points on things, and because of the nature of the site, people tend to be a little more open about the topics that are normally taboo. I like to know how other people think. I guess I was looking for sex, but settled for a character study of the human condition. Not as fun but twice as interesting.

OH! Thx for the redirect to my blog...I posted that article ages ago. I am convinced that many people here have a sexual addiction...I find it about as attractive as a crack addict, or alcoholic...

really we are here because we are wanting to connect with someone,wantint to share to be accepted to live or grow our lives and to know that we are not alone that there is someone or others that understand- you me- someone that says here is my hand lets play

I know this is going to sound really cliche, but it is the truth and it is posted pretty clearly on my profile and there are several people here that can attest to the fact that I actually practice what I preach, but I truly am here to find like-minded people (sexually open and adventurous, not sex addicts) to be friends with. If something sexual happens beyond that, it is a plus, but it is not a requirement or an expectation. In the long-run, I would like to find a woman that I could share this lifestyle with, but that is a dream that I have.
