Adulting sucks
Adulting sucks Today is not a good day for me. I woke up feeling like I want to turn off or delete ALL my social media and just concentrate on Kellin (my ), my work, and my pets. I just don't know anymore. Yeah, even us strong women have days like this. |

Nothing wrong with stepping away for a day, or even a few days. The world will wait. That said, deleting all is a fairly radical step. One of the nice aspects is that -- once you've had a chance to shake the nasties out of your head -- you can change who you are, or at least how you react to online stimuli... Wanting to focus on your son, your work, and your poets is very outward-focused, which is healthy. Why not quietly take a small break and see how it goes? And then, of course, come back and tell us how it feels... Stop in, read, and offer comments at my "swinging as seen in the media" blog, "Confessions of a Lifestyle Man" humorlife, which is also the home of the monthly virtual symposium. Hello Darkness. Sorry to hear you are feeling that way, although I suspect you are not the only one who does. There are probably many more out there who feel the same way, only you are the one with the courage to put how you feel into words. Having said that, I totally agree with humorlife. It is often good to take a step away and sort things out before taking a look at returning here. I know we are a long, long way apart, but if you need someone to talk with, please send me a message and I will be here for you.

I hear you!! Take a break do something that makes you smile or at least grin in private. No one will know. I spent three days in bed having a Clive Cussler marathon and I feel much better. Just think February is almost here and Spring is coming (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Of course you strong women have days where you need the support that you normally give to others. It is completely natural. I don't think it should come as any surprise to you that if you do decide to "unplug", your friends will be here for you when you decide to plug back in. Thank you all .. I'm sure I just need cuddles, booze, chocolate, a good cry, a long bathe, and some rough sex to completely take my mind off things.
