AFF Live: This Thusday Mr. K, the head of our abuse department has agreed to jump on to the broadcast this week! When you guys send me questions about the TOU, our practices or what we do about spammers, he's the man I go see to get you answers. He's also the one responsible for ramping up chat support over the past few weeks. Abuse is one of those areas that gets a lot of people hot under the collar, and I hope this will help give you a little window into how and why. I know you have many questions for him so add them to this post. The live chat's with me, sitting at my desk inside the FriendFinder-x offices are at 3 PM Pacific - every Thursday. I would really like to know if there is a filter of some sort in the chatrooms that hits on or looks for 'key words' like the messages do and 'bans' people out of the room then. SO MANY PEOPLE have suddenly been thrown out for saying f*ck or a**, a few for saying m*r*n and st*pid, seriously. I would love to know just why these things were happening and on a massive scale starting on or around June 1st and went on for over a month, almost 2.. I would love to know the answer to clear up some false accusations being thrown around about who and why this was happening.

I KNOW BEFORE IT IS SAID .. that there isn't much you can do to guess just who is going to send aweful emails. I mean insults and ones of "get off the site." I have had 2 in just 2 days seriously from men saying this kind of crap... SUBJECT: Then cancel your membership CONTENT: Give your email address to those you mentioned. Too bad you're so damn beautiful; you idiot. This one sent 2 messages himself: MSG #1 Subject: delete ur profile content: ur wasting bandwidth with ur useless profile. just delete it. MSG #2 Subject: autoreply from "rdy2try4" content: roflmao....waste more of the internet plz. OKAY FELLAS!!! When I called in, seriously, I was **told by the person on the phone in customer support** that this was a general email and no offense was committed. UH EXCUSE ME?? Since when did it become okay for the men to tell women to GET OFF the site??? I know you can't stop these from happening. You can't guess who is going to be the idiot. These 2 examples.. one was a 60 year old man in Puerto Rico and the second was a 29 year old kid out of state that again I wouldn't have even touched for personal preference reasons. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE.. something done not be told "live with it" from the customer support people!! If you want women to be here, then someone MUST hold these people accountable for sending out HATE emails to people they have never talked to before and chances are will NEVER meet!!

Unfortunately my hours of work do not coincide with the scheduled chat. Maybe someone can ask this for me....If racism, bigotry and hatred is against the TOU....how is it that postings such as this FUCK YOU EDWARDO9 are not deleted and members that post such things nothing is ever done about it? By the way....I asked this Q in the Sitesupport in the appropriate posting asking for an answer...As usual....my posting was deleted. I find it a coincidence that the same CS rep. (Mr.P I will refer to them as) responded to the Q's of other members prior to the one I had posted. It is not the first time that a posting has been deleted that pertained to the posted discussion thread. I am sure that I am not the only one either that has seen their posted Q deleted. Members complaints go unanswered and also reports of abuse go unanswered. That is not a good customer service and/or policy. Nick

We won't be able to be in the chat room tonight for family reasons, but I do have a question. Why are we treated like we did something wrong when we call in and ask for the abuse dept.??? I called in and was put on hold for more than 5 min when I wanted to report a woman having sex with her dog, on cam. I told the girl when I called what it was about and she acted like I was bothering her with something to do. She came back on the line and asked for their handle. When I gave it to her, she put me on hold, and then came back and said she couldn't see that happening. The dog was still there on the bed!!!! I also hit the abuse button and sent it in before I called, so there must have been a snap shot of it at that time. I told her to listen to the woman talking about what she had just done to everyone listening, on cam and was told she would take care of it and hung up. Nothing was done for at least 15 more minutes, till I wrote and IM to one of the managers and he took care of it. This has happened before and I don't like being treated like I did something wrong, when I'm only trying to help.
