Beta IMC and Downloadable IMC

Links to both the Beta IMC and the Downloadable IMC have been removed from the site.

Why?
Our efforts are better spent focusing on one broadcast tool than three different ones.

Beta IMC with Group Chat:

If you launched the Instant Messenger today you may have noticed there is no option to try out the Beta IMC. The Beta IMC was live for about a year. It was nice because it had a group chat window so you didn't have to go into an actual group, then to a group chat to talk with everyone watching your cam. People prefer using the regular version and it doesn't make sense to keep supporting this one.

Downloadable IMC:

The downloadable IMC is a flash version that ran from your desktop without ever having to go to the site. It's been the same for many years. About 10% of members broadcasting use this.

If you've downloaded this, it will still work. It's just not going to be availible for new users to download anymore.

People also prefer bling on their profiles, so why is it that FriendFinder-x does not listen to member on that issue?

 I find it sad that the beta IM has been dropped,i found it much more user friendly for a number of reasons...it also seemed more stable than the 'std' version.

 Now I can't even log into the downloadable version of IMC. It just keeps me listed as "disconnected." I hate the browser version because I never see when I have an incoming message, and don't always have my speakers on to hear it.
