Had the shave.

Had the shave. Well last Saturday was The world's Greatest Shave. I had two friends come along with me, not to get shaved, but to watch and take heaps of photos. It was great to see so many joining in to raise money. There were only four of us getting shaved, but lots getting their hair couloured. There were some great colours too. I would have liked to get that done as well, but there wasn't enough hair left. Lol I was hoping to raise 500, but with the generosity of some special friends, I ended up getting 1078. I was very happy indeed. After the deed was done, we went into the local for a very nice lunch.  |

Money raised for charity and a new hair style. Well done you. Everyone's a winner. The good thing is it will grow back. I did the opposite for charity in Movember, grew some very dodgy facial hair. Pics are on one of my blogs. Abers60

Congratulations and well done on a very selfless act for a fantastic cause; you are inspirational and motivational... A few people have said that I was brave, but it's not me who is brave, but those that have this terrible disease.

Thank you, and I'm glad I still look quite attractive. They use an electric shaver which have attachments depending on the length of hair required. No fingers used, just run it through the hair. I'll try and find out what length each attachment cuts to. It will be in centimeters, as that's what's used here.

I asked a friend and she's pretty sure the numbers represents the length in millimeters.
