...are they a good or bad idea ?

Don't judge a book by its cover. Wrong ! for the most part you 'should' be able to judge a book by its cover. Well certainly the cover should give you a very good indication as to the content and style of the book. So it goes with profiles and the posting of profile pictures.

It shouldn't come as any surprise to any of the women here that most of the men ( NO ! don't be silly ALL of the men ) are here looking for sex. That there are a number of men who are consummate "players" adept in filtering profiles to gain the upper hand. Also many appear to be "penis-centric" that is to say ONLY interested in what you can do for them ( and there dicks ) and only intending to use you ladies as not much more than glorified wank machines or deluxe willie warmers. Add a penis-centric attitude to a<b> skilled </font></b>player and guess the outcome.

By specifying "NO dick pics" or "NO cock shots" or "DON'T send me pics of your private parts" you have removed one of the early and obvious tell tale signs as to whether a possible suitor is penis-centric or not. You have also given a 'player' a hint towards your sensibilities and a possible route to manipulating you. For all you know that is 'exactly' what I could be doing by writhing this.

If a man's profile picture is of his penis ( supposably his ? ), if when he messages you he sends you unsolicited 'cock shots', then surely that speaks volumes about his intentions and preoccupation's. By actually telling him not to do that you are removing what for you could be a very important indicator ?

I can imagine that it must be frustrating and irritating to be bombarded by unwanted dick pics & cock shots, but isn't that a small price to pay compared to the rick of an evening with a selfish lover ? Remember ladies, you get to choose. With a ratio of what ? 50-1 may be 100-1 or more, you are spoiled for choice. Use ALL the information available to you, choose well and have fun.

Think about this, if his profile picture is of a dick, then he's very likely a dick himself.
