Curiosity

Curiosity There's this saying, "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back." Curiosity usually gets the best of me. There are some things that I just need to know, need to find out for myself. What happens when I do this? What is that person like in real life? What would happen if I dared say that? How will my actions make others act? What will happen if I try that? What is that like? What's inside there? What are you thinking? Let me ask! Sometimes I'm disappointed. Sometimes I'm thrilled at my discovery. Sometimes things are very anti-climatic. Sometimes I find something that I'm ecstatic about. Sometimes I dislike something so much that I will never try it again. But with all of it, I learn something new about myself and the world around me. Not that I'm always a huge thrill seeker. Sometimes my discoveries can be something as simple as learning what a new food tastes like. A momentary pleasure or flicker of emotion. Something new to giggle at. Or perhaps just a new thought to file away. I'm never sorry about doing a new thing, even if it doesn't turn out the way I may have hoped it would, unless of course I inadvertantly hurt someone with my actions. I enjoy knowing things, even if they're not pleasant things to know. So out of curiosity, what's the last thing you did out of curiosity, and how did it turn out? For the record, nothing funny about , just thought the picture was funny.  |

your so right i have discovered new things about myself. two things really that curiosity got the better of me. The One was this site i was curious to know what it was all about and i'm glad i made the leap in found some great friends and having some fun. The other was when i was a kid about 7years old i wanted to know if a wasp stings you does it hurt, yep found out the hard way. Truth,kindness and respect is what i give,and thats all i ask in return How to treat the ladies There39s a right way and a wrong way

For the record, nothing funny about . Unless you're a clown. Curiosity has never been a motivator for me to do something. Ask something, sure, but not do. Usually.

It's where the phrase "as funny as opening a forty-pound box of " came from. I'm waiting for someone on Law and Order:SVU to say that.
