Lookit what my midgets did! The girls finished decorating the tree yesterday. They did such a beautiful job! Apparently the oldest had taken the dress off from the angel that usually goes on top and put it on one of her Barbies.  It works.  I really am impressed. And they actually worked together without a lot of the sniping and bitching that has been included in most of their recent activities.   They really lifted my spirits. Now all I have to do is finish my shopping. I think I'm going to make gingerbread cookies with the midgets for some people. I might actually even have plans for Christmas that I'll enjoy. I'm working this year, but it's only until 11am, so I'll pick up the midgets from their dad's, (giving him plenty of time to do the opening of the presents and stuff) and then let them open their stuff here, do lunch and head to my friend's parent's house for some sledding. All the stories about his parents make them sound like really fun people. Should be a really fun day. I'm just hoping that I have that night off in exchange for working the holiday. Otherwise I'm gonna be really tired. But as I always say, there's enough time for sleep when I'm dead, and good memories are always welcome. What are all your plans for the holidays?  |

what a great looking tree  I'm spending Christmas Day at my sisters' after delivering all my presents to the rest of the family who, thankfully, all live in the same town. The day after (we call it Boxing Day), I'll be watching my local football team play. (you call it soccer)

hi Peek, can you send those "midges" to my home please,need some help by decorating my tree too   no plans yet for the holidays maybe i'm just like the turkey and won't survive those days  _ _ _ _ _ it's better to live and do the things today than to be sorry tomorrow

The oldest is 12 and almost and comes up to my chin. She did most of the work, especially the pearls, but did a great job of helping the wee ones with ornament placement. Now if only they'd stop sneaking the candy canes. Have a great time at the zoo!

They DID do a beautiful job! Do you by chance rent them out for less than airfare? I have milk and cookies...if they don’t eat too many... Just staying home and entertaining the family. H.

Plans! What plans? My wife and kids are overseas visiting my wife's family for Christmas and I have to stay here and work. How the hell does that happen? Your kids did a great job with the tree.
