Lets Give Them Something to Blog About

So today, in America, we're supposed to talk about giving thanks and all that fun stuff. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Thanksgiving for multiple reasons. However, I've been thinking a lot about what I'm thankful for.

2016 has been kind of a spectacularly shitty year and sometimes it's easy to get dragged down into all of that negativity. It's easy to focus on all the bad that has happened rather than remember all of the good things in your life that you should be thankful for.

I'm thankful for all of "the usual things" I've said in the past. I'm thankful for my health, for my family, for my friends. I'm thankful that I'm employed, that I mostly like my job, that I have a house and running water and all of the other amenities in my life.

And I'm thankful for A.F.F. which, even to me, sounds kind of silly. I spend a vast majority of my time on here complaining about the things I don't like about this site so, I figured I'd mention a positive. I've met some amazing people on here, people who I hope will continue to be a part of my life in some way. I've had some great conversations on here, this place has opened up the opportunity to meet people I would otherwise not have met.

And I'm especially thankful for a few of those people in particular. So thanks and all that sentimental stuff
