Yes, I remember going to the yearly Harvest Festival in my local church. Baskets of food were always in abundance.

You know I didn't know that ya'll didn't celebrate Thanksgiving until Citizen mentioned it to me the other day. What a shame it's my favorite Holiday of all. Thank you for the Happy Thanksgiving wishes..

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Yep we sure do.

If so, how do you celebrate Thanksgiving? I make a Turkey and all the trimmings as a matter of fact I just got finished making my deviled eggs. I will be making my Pumpkin Pie in a bit here. And then tomorrow all the other foods will be made for our dinner. It's just the two of us this year. We were invited to my daughters but other family members
aren't vaccinated and we can't risk hubbies heath. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to someone cooking for me for a change.

What celebration is the most important to you? That's a great question and any Holiday Celebration where we can be with family is the most important to me..

I hope you enjoy a wonderful Hump Day my friend..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Harvest Festival sounds a lot like the origin of Thanksgiving.

For me, traditionally Thanksgiving was for traveling to see far flung family, whereas Christmas was spent at home. (Of course this all changed with Covid.)

Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy HNW.

yes, we have already celebrated Thanksgiving...we usually have turkey then we make turkey soup with the leftovers. I guess you could assume that Christmas would be the most important celebration around this household! (the Mrs birthday is the same day!

Thanksgiving and Christmas and ANY celebration where the whole family can get together, is always a treat. Of course, Christmas is the one steeped in tradition and a more serious underlying theme but they're all good — in their own way.
Cheers 🥂 😎 ❗ ❗

And happy thanksgiving to you!
We enjoy thanksgiving as a family. Sometimes it’s a reunion with lots of family (20+). Sometimes it’s just the 4 of us. It’s a day to just be together, thankful for each other. People go all out here in the states I guess. When I was younger, it was at grandmas house. Lots and lots of food and people. Everyone is dead now, so it’s simpler. I miss it though. Pecan pie. Yum.
We are blessed. And I’m thankful for that.
This year, I’m home alone. Has never happened before. Not sure what to do. Interesting.

Have a great day! 💋

You need to observe all the holidays of the world.. Then you could have choice of fine meals more often..
Thanks giving here is very tradition, turkey with all the fixings, plenty of desserts, pies ans so forth.. Then a relaxing afternoon to one's enjoyment..
I think I should celebrate my birthdays more so than others, I think there will be fewer of them!!!!

I haven’t done anything special for Thanksgiving in a few years. My sister has always been kind enough to take me in at Christmas so I don’t really expect it at Thanksgiving as well. I’ve hosted a few ‘Friendsgiving’s throughout the years, but it is an awful lot of work for what is not really my favorite kind of food!
