What's changed?

Beside me getting older. When I was younger I didn't think older people still were having sex and now I'm older I now know better. One change now it is easy to meet people on line but are they who they want you to think who they are? When I was younger you had to meet face to face and you could see just who you were talking to and now not so must. Sometimes something old is better than something new.

 I used to think the same thing when I was a young kid...I'd look at my grandma or great aunts who were my age , or even younger, and think...gosh they're old...they looked like the streotype grandma!...my great aunts never went out, I never saw them being very interested in fashion, make-up...dating, So, I guess, I assumed older people didn't really have a social life outside of playing bingo The media didn't help either, always portraying older ladies as prudes or sex crazed women who chased after all men...seeing this just fueled my narrow-mindedness.
the world is a different place than it was 40 some years ago...now I am at the age I thought was old..gosh.perceptions of age have changed..Older women are enjoying themselves dating, "hooking -up... .younger men sexually attracted to more mature women ...older women being socially active as a single, or couple! Yes, the world has really changed!... Nahhh maybe not so much...I think the world has pretty much been this way all along!, but now you have the internet to meet people through, I think the good old face to face meeting will always be the most reliable you've heard the old saying "The more things change, the more it same the same" I believe that's true.. it's just that now, I do not see it through the eyes of a nieve little girl anymore. Great post, very thought-provoking!
