Well now they just gone and done it! The site finally won. I used to have thousands of points and lots of friends and fans. But the ever changing regime slowly wore me down. Kept changing the rules of the game. Slowly drained me and took away all the things I'd worked so hard to build. Last night, I was down to my last 17 points. I tried to chat with someone I used to know but hadn't been on in like forever. I thought what the heck. I haven't been using the chat and the I M, but I thought I'd give it a try. Clicked and gave up the 17 points and lo and behold...the person wasn't really there. And neither were the points. I fought the good fight for years here. I still enjoy keeping up on<b> blogs. </font></b>But this isn't the wonderful community it used to be. At least for people like me who used points instead of the constant gold balls. And before you call me cheap...I'm trying to buy more points, and you can't even do that anymore apparently. I've tried multiple times and all I get is a screen to make me buy the gold ball, with an option for points. So congrats! You win corporate overlords. I'll still slink around in the shadows of blogland until you find a way to take that away too. But I've already found multiple other sites that still allow for a little creativity, a little connection, and a little fun! So enjoy your hollow victory! Embrace the suck |

In 2004 you could do so much more and the people were so much more friendly than now. This site has changed hands so many times it's unreal. In the end it comes down to making money. It's all about them . The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.
