No-See-Ums

Any of you know the little white winged flying things (most of the
time you can't see anything), but they nip at your skin, get in your
hair and aggravate the daylights out of you.

Well, have had the exterminator out 3 times, they sprayed inside,
around the house, but have yet to spray completely under the house or
in the attic.

Have used a Home Defense spraying myself, all to no avail. You will
think they are gone, and they come right back every day.

Do any of you know the annoying little flying thingys that I am
talking about?

DOES anybody know a method of getting rid of them? Keep in mind I
can't stand the strong pesticide sprays (can't breathe when it is
sprayed), so I have to pack up and get out of here for several days
till all that kinda stuff dissipates.

HELP, HELP am going crazy to get rid of these things!!!!! thinking
about packing up for the mountains and maybe they will follow me and
somebody up there can trap them!!!! Ha! Ha!

Thankfully it's never warm enough here for us to be pestered with things like that.....we get a few flying ants in hot weather but that's all.
Here in SE NC, we are pestered with one flying bug or another
all during the hot weather.

Not sure these might be the same. These little guys are so small that usually you don't see anything. Only once in a while if a bit bigger, you will see their little white wings.

What do you use to get rid of the ones you are talking about?
I never seen it inside. If on my plant outside, I would cut away the affected part and dispose it or I might use pesticides. If inside not serious, I might try to smash them with my hands if I could catch them.
Maybe tyoiu keep indoor plant that attract this insects. Get rid of the plants might help.

Thanks for reminding me. Had bought the mothballs just
before putting things together to go to Lake, and the
exterminator was to come again, and I forgot to open them
and put some out.

They are out now. Boy they are strong, hopefully they will
work.

Do the mothballs kill then or just run then away?

I only know the white flies that attack on the outside plant.
