NEEDED: A Water Tight Billion Gallon Container

Know there are those of you out there that could use some rain water, well
could easily get it for free by providing a huge water tanker. Here in SE NC and South Carolina, there is water abound from these two storms, and they tell us we are to get another 12+" on top of the up to 8" already on the ground.

Hoping it will stop coming down soon. Am hoping my new 'little hut' on a peninsula close to the Intra Coastal Waterway has not taken off in all this water like a pantoon
boot!!!!!

Looks like it's about done now (hopefully). Maybe get back to normal soon.
You are correct, only misted rain very lightly yesterday, and none today. In fact the sun is out and hot enough to give you a bold sun burn if you stay out in it.

Just came back in house here in the country from putting up a For Rent sign for the Mobile unit me and a painter friend have been renovating the inside of for the past 3 weeks off and on. Finally done except getting the EX , since he is here in town this week, to put up one of those fire alarms that is wired into the electrical.
He is a retired Electric Utility Worker and Electric contractor.

Have a good weekend my friend. js

Not as bad as expected, as right where my house is, is very close to a slough off the Intra Coastal Waterway and can rise pretty high with the Lunar Tides, not even with a storm or two coming our way.

Take care my friend.

Understand the heavy surf has caused us a problem with taking the bulk of the dunes away from to Oceanfront lots we still own there on the Island. But had a message from Mayor that the town would be pushing up sand once this storm is gone to rebuild the dunes for our Island's 26 mile stretch.

I hope the rain did not do too much damage.
My son is down at the beach and says the worst done during all this rain and wind was way too much water from all the rain bands, and that water has come out of the IntraCoastal on high tides and has not quite gotten up to the back of the house, but under the low-riding deck on the backside of house, but the public road in front and to the side of the house is all flooded out. Water solely receding he says.
