Men vs Women, Compliment vs Insult
Men vs Women, Compliment vs Insult If I could have a reality show It would highlight the differences in men and women given a similar event or stress. Ones junk is another’s treasure. Ones comment or reaction is often taken as an insult or compliment depending on the sex. One day me and my stealthy camera crew would hire an attractive, brave male to approach top heavy women at the park and in an unthreatening manner comment “WOW! Look at the size of those!” Next, we would observe behavior. How do you think this man will be received? In a positive manner? Do you think this woman would leave the scene with pride and self confidence? Could you see her going out of her way to thank our stunt man for his attention to detail and appreciation of beauty? Hmmmm, I think we all know how this will end up. Jail time, a bloody nose, sexual harassment suit, come to Jesus talk, etc. Meanwhile my other camera crew will dress my attractive stunt woman in roller skates and spandex with the goal of finding men to study. Survey equillavent? Approach men and comment “WOW! Look at size of that bulge in your pants” Now how do you think our female colleague will be received? Even if the bulge were not visible I’m pretty sure most men would be flattered beyond belief. They would text their friends about the encounter, possibly exaggerating the event to epic proportions with no shame. Our female daredevil would be inundated with every type of advance from dating inquiries to sexual come-ons. This man would leave the scene a legend, stud, and yes, a manly man! I love naughty compliments from strangers. I would like women who read this post to contemplate why they feel so insulted by the same thing. Is it because men have tougher skin or does our ego thrive on sexual gratification? Do you ever think in time women will evolve to be the aggressor and the roles will reverse? That’s my blog, thanks! |
