Everyone looks at me like I'm nuts for continuing to have anything to do with her.

But she really has no one else she can rely on for anything. In the end, that's what keeps me from abandoning her, every time.

She gave me a present: A journal, in which she wrote that I am her saving grace.

Try walking away from that.
