The big 70
Tomorrow's the big day. 70 years old. I really did not think I'd become this old..After all I have cheated death so many times. If wasn't for modern medicine I would have been at nine. And the many scrapes of accidents that if they had gone just a little differently I would have cashed it in. Even now I should say that I'm eight years old. The by-pass has kept me going now.

I don't regret any of my misadventures, except one. A near miss head on collision on US95 between Vidal Junction and Needles. Whole family in the van and I went pass a Semi. Could have made except he was right on the tail of another Semi. Nowhere go get in. On-coming RV and me barreling down on each other.. Death was imminent. I pulled onto the on-coming<b> shoulder </font></b>praying in my mind that the RV would not do the thing. He didn't. I would have killed my wife and my two .
