Good luck on the novel - I'm plugging away at mine, and even managing to avoid the near-daily temptation to pitch it into the backyard fire pit.  Since starting the novel... moved to Washington state, moved back, moved to three locations in Buffalo over 13 years, and lost the backups, fell out of love with the characters in the story, realized the arc of the story was lame, 2nd computer crash, and recently - a realization that I might not live long enough to finish it! (there's more, but ashamed to tell it...  )I bet your tale of woe beats mine. You should only read what is truly good or what is frankly bad. Gertrude Stein

Now at least 12 of my friends will be going to see if you've been brilliant this week or not! No pressure... ha. What I remember about your blog posts is that they were very articulate, topics that interested me, and seemed to be coming from a social savant, who is an old soul, perhaps? And having read some of your comments, I found that I was intrigued by the clarity and depth of perception. I believe you and I love you! You are one of the reasons I stay and stay engaged in the blogging community. Yes, he is a very nice man and it was a generous act indeed, Mr. Goldstein, to nominate me in the company of such lovely ladies! I was delighted. And then as I came back to see the comments tonight, I realized my error, and was aghast! Yikes. My blood pressure is back to the right place now, now that I've asked both fellows to forgive my lapse! Hopefully you will always forgive me for my lapses (of which I might be still unaware...) and the ones that I blush over afterwards. Thoughts of warmth and joy sent your way tonight. Aw, I'm glad you decided to join in and I'm going to check out some of your nominees! 300 people! I love that you're so open to meeting people. I'm probably way up there when you roll in the meet and greets, but not that high, I don't think. But, it's my way of being alive with gusto! for the people who've joined this site from my area! I can tell you that I never would have guessed, when I joined, that this city had so many sexy people who were looking for other sexy people! It's such a married, Catholic/Jewish/Christian, and family oriented city/area, on the surface, anyway! I decided to join in when I re-read the nice things the three of you said about my involvement here. Never joined to be a role model, but hey, as I age, I can see myself become more of a matchmaker, observer and maybe even be satisfied with that! Someday!
