"The Chase and Conqueror' We arrive at the house , pulling up to the front door, I disarm the alarm system while you wait for the "okay/All clear to come in. Suddenly there is a shot in the<b> woods. </font></b>Grabbing my weapon, I run into the yard. You're missing. So franticly I run into the<b> woods. </font></b>No evidence of a struggle, just a note that reads.  "You already Know, I have that which you seek'. "Come get it, if you can find it'. No name was stated just a devious smile with a cross'. I start off running through the cemetery then past the old barn then down a steep hill as the cold chill in the night is getting to my lungs. Bewildered and outdone, I rest for a brief second. Knowing this could be my beloved's last moments. No time to rest too much, catching breath and attempting to gather my senses. I run upon another note, which leads to another dilemma. "Oh!' "You're so close, yet not, better hurry before, she's just a spot!! "Ha!' "Ha!' "Ha!' "Ha!' Back Tracking my steps, wandering through the forest then back up the hill, back through the cemetery. Exhausted and outdone. I head back to the house. Another shot rang out. I hurried back in the door were my lover lay there awaiting on the floor. I smiled and stare at this awesome stranger whom I yet know not but then I do. "Was that a bit over the top, my luv?!' She asked, "No.' I replied as I disrobe. Loosing all clothing and drop to be at her side. We passionately laid in bliss making love for hours, while awaiting the sun which didn't seem to matter while staring into each others eyes. I knew she was a catch, but for this beguiled lover it's worth the wait for the conqueror I had become to run through this scenario I would have gladly done, again and again, till I caught my chase. Morning had arrived and so she was gone for I knew come the night I would lay eyes upon my lover's again till dawn....."Yeah! I know by now you caught on. if not here's a gist. She drains the blood from the living.  . Just a prelude to Halloween which is next month. Have fun! "Ha!' "Ha!' "Ha!' "Ha!' Oh you're probably wondering  The fiend has spoken.
