More options/sites/apps for getting in touch?

Besides craigslist, what other sites or apps has anyone tried that helps meet people IN ADDITION to FriendFinder-x

We've heard sites like LL, SLS, Kasadie have regional appeal so we're curious if one of those is better for Vegas and or SoCal?

We've started using KIK for keeping in touch with people once we get past the intro here, and wonder about also using FB or Tinder or any other<b> mobile </font></b>friendly tools?

Probably not the best place to ask this but maybe one of you has some useful advice.
