"The diner was an old greasy spoon, a weathered gun-metal-silver train car from a by-gone era, with cramped booths, red cracked vinyl, with the smell of lard and bacon heavy in the air. But they had the best muffins and pancakes around, so it was understandable why it was so busy at 9:30 am on Tuesday."

It reads like an old 1950s private eye novel. I could almost walk in right there right now. Brilliant.

"and he asked her to top him off." What????? I didn't think THAT was where this was heading. Oh, the coffee.....okay.

…. Ah, the book to be written requires research… years of research….in order for the raw emotions and titillating explosions in the synapses to be convincingly real to the readers… feel the heat…. Experience the twitching with the maddeningly erotic scents in the air…. Each chapter perhaps a small novelette of adventure and intrigue…. All in the name of shared research of course…. After all, one must follow the science…. Or so we’ve been told… grin …. Carpe Diem…. Meow! 😸
