You just posted what I have partially written out for a post here and our thoughts on selfies and pics are quite similar. On another post here from the 28th I wrote: I maybe shouldn't be yapping about this as my main pic is from 2012 and there is a bit more grey. Plus I'm considering doing a goatee thing. But I've been pondering/procrastinating over it since like May or so. And then I would have to take selfies which tend to suck. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I love this blog. I completely understand being called a fake. Yes I know I have an active profile. I am on here constantly. Yes I know this is a fuck site. Yes my profile says we are looking for a man to join us. Yes, Yes, Yes. But my partner is a long time closeted tgirl. So give her sometme and she will be ready to have the threesome experience. I have been upfront about our situation. That tgirl jas to be fem in order for this to happen. I like flirting. Heck I met tgirl via chat rooms and being a flirt on line. I was upfront and honest that I did it and that I (to use an old word) cybered for guys via mircophone, never cam. Once we got together I stopped sexy chatting and flirting. She became my only. Once we decided tentatively to add another guy over a year ago, she contacted a guy on Craigslist. But it didnt work out. I did research, signed up to too may websites. Until I found FriendFinder-x. I was upfront that I flirted. And she gets benefits from me being turned on. I am extra flirty with her. Extra horny too. Well a few days ago I got stalked off site. This guy seen our profile here and searched for our name on another app. Yes it was me. Once I figured out how he found us. He started demanding pics. When I said I was too tired, he threatened to get me kicked off both sites for being a fake. I was completely exhausted and so not feeling like pics. Heck I only take selfies in daily life if my face is covered, or there is a major life event going on. I said I only take selfies when I wear my motorcycle helmet. So he asked me to put it on and take tits, ass and pussy pics for him. Well 24 hours. I blocked and reported him on both sites.

I like your profile pic! Mines already 5 years old, but I won't change it. Best profile photo I can think of for me. Wish I could use it on regular dating sites. What I tend to do is add new recent photos, so that there's at least something current.

There is no reason to change it, especially if it makes you happy, which is really what’s most important. As for the knuckleheads that think your fake, that’s their problem. Some people ignore what you say and hear what they want to hear and then take it out on you when they don’t get the result they wanted. Petulant children exist on every site I suppose. unless you've had some drastic plastic surgery, just leave it! I hate selfies too, and since i'm usually the photographer, I don't have many pictures of myself. If someone wants one, I grudgingly oblige, but overall hate taking my own picture

None of my profile pics have ever included my face. And since my boobs haven't changed much, I figure I'm OK with using them as an enticement. Which is really "neither here nor there", since I don't chat, and no one is asking to see my face. Thankfully, men in the age range I am seeking to meet are not quite so into the modern methods of communication. I may be very modern and forward-thinking in some ways, but in others, I am so "old school: it is frightening. Well, except for when I wear my schoolmistress costume - now THAT is frightening. Well, we have had a quasi-related conversation. If what you are willing to offer isn't enough for them, then that's on them. I keep finding out the hard way that i do not have to do a single thing to appease some stranger online. Typically, i am a pretty chatty person and have absolutely no problem pretending to know what I'm talking about. But i still have to watch who i participate with... obviously. As for protecting your identity here. Getting to know who you are on a site like this is difficult, therefore it is a privilege reserved for those that have taken all of the necessary steps. I am one who happens to think you're profile photo is perfect. Why change it or delete it? The photo truly identifies you Julies. The hat over your eyes, your full lips and inviting smile all identify you and go so well with your writing. Of course, as in anything, it's totally up to you. Pics always help but i must say envsiining an engaging linguistically usually lets my imagination take off... seeinf that smile is enough for me. But to each his own. i think a combo is good. i understand about this profile photo being a signature for you. even with me taking a break from the site for five years i was able to match up which blogger you are quickly. but it think it's good to have some current photos as well. just one or a few. my old profile had several photos i used repeatedly. but my ass isn't as plump as it was in my bondage photo. so i don't feel that photo is a fair representation of who i am now. (i lost 40 lbs.) a few people have been worthy of a face shot and my hair has a lot of gray now which when i came to the site i was still jet black. i saw one of your other posts about desire and leaving blogging. i've gone perimenaupcusal before hitting 50. i considered coming back to blog since 2015 as i miss the camaraderie and posts. but i've had friends who stayed tell me it's not the same as it was. and as i wasn't having sexy adventures i didn't see the point of posting yet again i did not have sex. a friend who is a major lifestyle organizer in a bigger city reminded me how many regulars still remember who i am and offered a roadtrip so i could break this celibacy spell of mine. yes. i went celibate. not a very blog sexy topic. but i miss having a regular vs just a quick meet. i'm glad you kept the signature photo. i don't think you owe any excuses for still using it.
