Give thanks and appreciate, Find peace and joy, Keep the faith, I will keep on going. While I can still… Breathe the ‘g.i.f.t.’ of life, I will keep on going, Till my journey ends.  |

This poem was written by a friend of mine who is legally blind and whose remaining eyesight continues to deteriorate. She is a respected advocate in her community and one I have been proud to support through a number of volunteer activities. Her words seem particularly poignant during these shared difficult times.

What a great poem its so very true, thanks for sharing it with us. And that's a true meme too, as everyday that we are here gives us strength to deal with any struggles that we may incur. I hope we are able to keep doing all these things while we still can. I hope your enjoying a great Hump day.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Be a friend to all. Promote peace and understanding is a war torn world . Such wonderful words . I would love to help everyone feel joy again in their lives

Me? from the words of Ghandi " Be the Change....", his words really say, " if we could change ourselves, the tendencies of the world will also change" That is my wish to carry myself in such a way , that the tendencies of the world follow suit. In a good / positive way, of course...lol ~~

I play hockey with 3 guys that are in their 80's and that continues to be a source of inspiration for me. There's also a player that is legally blind and yet he's out there giving everything he's got. We forget far too often just how much we have to be grateful for. Thanks for sharing this and for continuing to make us stop and think sexyldy!
