my maintenance guy

I hope this finds everybody well, on this beautiful gorgeous day. I have the next 3 weeks off, as of now. With the weather change, I am looking forward to being off. Of course the boss could drop jobs in the portal at any time.

Since I don't have family here at all except 2 adult , I depend on the maintenance man to keep an eye on my place. One travels like I do, she works for the same company, and the other lives an hour away.

I depend on that dude. In fact he is the only man at the moment to have a key to my place. He is single, and I have joked with him several times, I wish I was attracted to him. He can fix things, he is trustworthy, he is always joking around with me, and he will answer my calls, when I do call. What more can a woman ask for.

I had a roof leak while I was gone this week. OI called him and he said he would be over later today. He came over a couple of hours ago to fix it. I was in the shower, and had left the front door open. Of course he would show up at that time. I did get out of the shower and saw him in the living room heading to the bedroom. I run back into the bathroom, grabbed a towel and called his name. Of course we both start laughing when he realizes what he walked in on.

I grab my thermal sleep shirt that goes below the knees and talk to him for a minute. He's laughing the whole time because he knows I am embarrassed. it was all in fun. I get dressed. The roof gets patched.

We had this discussion about the roof, and what I can do with it. I live in a<b> mobile </font></b>home I paid cash for right after I filed for my divorce. that was 8 years ago. I didn't think I would be in the park that long, and I didn't think I would be single that long. mmmmmmmmmm. I am still here, and I am still single.

Anyway, the roof will be fixed permanently as soon as I figure out what we are doing. I am hoping I can have metal roofing put on, or get it tarred. I am tired of painting it and the paint only lasting 2 years.

While the maintenance guy was at my house, he had 2 or 3 others stop by to see him. He is a popular guy. He is a nice guy. The dude would make an awesome boyfriend. He is just so far off the physical type I prefer. There just has not been any sort of physical or sexual attraction on my part. I wish there was.

We have even discussed this and joked about it. It's just going to be friends, but tha'ts a good thing. It's nice to have guy friends. True guy friends, no sex attached.
