What motivates you

Good evening I hope this finds you with that secret smile on your face. Mine is there.

I have been so negligent about my blogging. I think about it everyday, and say ohhhhh, that would make a great blog.

Then I don't. I have been letting life get in the way.

So, what do I want to blog about. There are so many things, I have had happen. Or thoughts I have.

I think, we all have things that motivate us for one reason or another.

Or, how about we make choices that seem right at that time.

This is what motivates me. Life moves on continuously, it does not stop for anybody.

I told you I took time to visit with this lovely lady who was like my second mother, whom I have not seen for a few years because she moved from Kentucky to Wisconsin.

Minutes after we left she went to the hospital. She was released home, with..
Hospice.

We all know what that means. She called me personally with the information.

She is 88, she said she thought she was ready to go, but is not.

I lost my mother 2 years ago. I have had 2 major operations in the passed 4 years, due to an auto wreck years ago. The last a year ago.

I'm in great shape, have a good job, have a place to live, have many family and friends.

My one lack, is the relationship thing.

This is finally where this is going...

I drove directly from my job completion to see a lover in a close by city.

This man I love, that I have been involved with a Lil over 4 years.

For whatever reason, he is there, and I am here.

Him and I were having a discussion, about me being there. I looked at him and said, my lady friend, M.a., is the reason I am here.

Cherish what you have, spend as much time with those you love.

Because, one of you may not be there tomorrow.

We, and I will say it again, we should be happy with this life we live.

That, is what motivates me, happiness.
