Dating Site Review

Hey all,

I know, I know, it's been a while since I posted anything. So I figured I would start up again. I was hanging with a friend of mine and was talking about hookups and what-not, and she suggested I get my name out there more than just this site. Not saying this site hasn't helped me, because it has, but different options can't hurt. So, having said that I have tried a few different dating sites (if you want to call them dating sites) and have decided to give my comments below.

BBPeopleMeet.com: (yes, that is the site name)

Synopsis: This dating site is for big, beautiful/handsome people and their admirers. I didn't even know BHM (big handsome man) was a thing, but I guess it is.

Pros: Relatively cheap, a 6-month membership is on the $40 range, and let's face it sites like this which tout themselves as a "find your love" dating site can sometimes reach $40 per month, so all in all not so bad. Also, it's a niche dating site, meaning you know what you're getting, which is good. Finally, the website layout is rather good and easy to navigate, and it allows you to peruse and interact with other fairly well.

Cons: Due to it being a niche dating site, it's rather limited in its member base, meaning you see the same people over and over again in your local area. While the website layout is good, the mobile layout leaves something to be desired.

Overall this site's not too bad, but this is more for finding relationships than just hooking up.

Tinder:

Synopsis: If you don't know what Tinder is, I'm gonna assume you've been living under a rock for the past...say...5 years?

Pros: It's free. I mean, there's stuff you can spend money on if you want, but it was designed as a free site. There are not many bots on it, which is good, and there is variety.

Cons: Sometimes it defaults and gives you people who are the entire length of the US away, or sometimes overseas. As you guys can see I'm in NH, and it was giving me people (no, not bots, real people) in places like Oregon and Great Britain. Also, if you don't have a rock-hard gym body, don't expect to get too many hits. I mean, I'm in shape...it's round...but round is a shape.

So, Tinder is ok for a hook-up site as long as you're 25, have an 8-pack, make over $300k per year, and live in a mansion...in Los Angeles. Yeah, not exactly the best.

MeetMe:

Synopsis: It's like Tinder. It used to be called MyYearBook.

Pros: It's free. That's it.

Cons: HOLY FUCKING BOTS BATMAN!! Like, this is absolutely ridiculous. The amount of friggen bots on this site is beyond belief. I'm reaching 40 bots reports in a total viewing time of 8 hours. Seriously, between that and the ads, it's just unreal.

Stay the hell away from MeetMe.
