Do You?

So fellow bloggers out there or just readers of the blogs I guess. How many of you do this? You are zipping along reading and someone gets pimped or recommended and you zip over to check them out. Maybe it the provocative title you like, or a provocative photo that hooks you in.

Once you get there though do you read a couple of posts and then subscribe to them or do you try to read everything they have written. I am guilty of both. I do find that with the pic heavy posters I only read about a page or two back. With people who are textually heavy I try to read as much as I can.

Do you do the same or am I alone in what I do with interesting bloggers?

I have totally given up on my sunday stories getting any more. I think weekend blogs don't get a lot of comments either.

I agree with the idea of blogging for yourself and not a popularity contest. I have enjoyed people from different ages as I feel they bring something to the table that I would miss otherwise. I avoid the drama and try to encourage my friends to do the same.

 I generally don't bother with blogs that are picture heavy. And I tend to skim read blogs that are uber long. I tend to read short blogs and I read ones that I know the history of. And of course, I read and comment on the blogs of my friends.
