Susan Saradon's tits... One of the attractions of the classic 1970 film "Joe" is Susan Saradon's tits! She had lovely normal sized boobs which are displayed in the opening minutes while she is fooling with her junkie drug dealer boyfriend who is shot by her dad. This film is a liberal's<b> wet dream. </font></b>Peter Boyle does a fab job as a George Wallace type gun loving rascist who admires the patrician ad executive who actually kills a junkie. The orgy, which Joe pronounces "OR-gee", leads to a spasm of violence where Joe and his hero kill young adults, including the ad guy's . Law and Order attitudes beget Kent State killings. Nice to see naked women with normal bods and natral pubic hair! Amazingly the sex shown in 1970 seemed much more realistic than in movies today where the women wear bras to bed! Progress may not be so great. One funny part of the orgy scene had a pretty blond girl explaining to Joe that sex is not supposed to be a 100 yard dash! There is no prize for doing it quickly! The movie also touts sex while stoned with grass as the ad guy seems particularly relaxed and happy; his young female partner asked if this was his first time having sex while stoned... A funny nostalgia trip, though I would have preferred more sex and less violence... Holds up surprisingly well... |
