The HBO series has naked bodies and a<b> creepy </font></b>tone. The original with Yul Brenner was more effective. High tech does not make high drama.

 I thought the original movie with Yul Brynner was campy.
I much prefer the HBO series.
The question of “what is it to be human?” is one for the ages.
