Trump's wall

Trump is a strange breed. He thinks he is smart. Reality is not kind to those with no humility. Trump wants to force Dems to fund his wall. Not a winner. The Dems base and politicians hate the wall. Waste of money and an insult to Mexico, a major trading partner. If Trump partially shuts down the Federal Government that hurts the economy and Federal workers. The funding will start up again in a few weeks. Trump will not get a wall. Maybe some fencing and some other border security improvements. He can have that now. So why do it? Trump is macho and wants to look like a tough guy.

The laugh is his new Congress will be controlled by the Dems and those GOP politicos who chose to cooperate. The Trump agenda if it needs any legislation or money is done.

Trump can appoint conservative judges, but they are on for life. Once on the Federal bench they decide as they see the rules. Recently Brett K. on the Supremes supported the Planned Parenthood position and agreed with Roberts not to hear an appeal to defund Planned Parenthood.

Trump is not going to enjoy the next two . He may be out in 2020....
