Unintended results

Recent studies of the Federal Reserve show the tariffs backfired. Seems the interconnected supply chain result in fewer manufacturing jobs due to the tariffs. Trump had a simple thought the tariffs would spur more US job creation. Wrong.

Seems the stuff made in China becomes part of U.S. bigger items like cars, trucks and other equipment. Too bad for the workers and the economy of the world. So we got raised prices for goods and less production.

The phase one deal with China will make less damage but the ruined reputation of the U.S. as a reliable trade partner is gone. Oh, the China jobs went to Vietnam and did not come back to the U.S. So much for stupidity in this complex world.
