here i go again..

ok, so I don't want to keep harping on the same subject, but whatever happened to common courtesy? today I had an afternoon shift, so before going into work I went to go get some lunch at subway... cause that way I can pretend that I ate healthy even though I didn't...

when I got there, I arrived at right around the same time as another person, we both got out of our cars and walked to the door and since I got there a few steps ahead of her I opened the door to let her go ahead of me (I should point out that I would have done the same thing regardless of who it was, man/women/garden gnome you name it), she says thank you and walks up to the counter and proceeds to order for her entire office! wait just a minute... I have 1 sandwich order, and you're getting food for 12... and you wont let me go ahead of you? even worse she took advantage of my manners (I wont even say good manners since opening the door for someone behind you is so basic as to be standard) knowing full well that your decision would cost me an extra 30 minutes??? thank you for reminding me why I'm so happy being single!!!
