another thing that frustrates me...

i'm sure that i'm very late to the party on this topic... but it bugs the crap out of me. so... as a guy (w/o a photo) I don't get nearly as many profile views and all of the things that go along with that... hotlists, emails, friend req etc (no this isn't what make me mad, i'm getting there)
so when I do notice that I've had some activity on my profile it always gives me a little thrill...except for when its just a spam bot. now I understand that this sort of thing is an ongoing problem, and for the most part this site does a decent job of getting rid of those when they see them... but here's what torque's me off. ok so a spam bot has hot listed me... you've removed the spam bot, why cant you remove that from my main page?
I log in and notice that I've been hot listed... click on the link, and then nothing? wth? don't get me all excited that someone out there might be interested in me only to find nothing there... or at least when I click on the link and see that there isn't anything (or anything new) remove the damn "hit". annoying!
