Vr movie stars?

So I was watching a marvel movie recently, looking at a 40yrs younger version of Michael Douglas, and I started to wonder... when will Hollywood make entire movies like this? I've seen clips of concerts of holo Micheal Jackson (all of the great dancing, none of the problems with little kiddies) so surely we can make a whole movie this way, right? ( I am serious, and don't call me Shirley! Sorry, I couldn't help myself). What if we could do new movies with Fred Astaire break dancing.... ok that's a horrible idea, but you get the idea right? How about a remake of 'On the water front'... you know assuming we can also find away to remove the cotton balls that Brando always had in his mouth. Wouldn't that be a great way to reduce production costs? Not to mention, especially now, health and safety concerns.

Imagine some of the movies we could make.... all new John Wayne cowboy movies. Movies about the Iraq/Afghani wats starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford (yes, he's still alive but a little too old for an action role). Maybe someone could make a decent vehicle for Elvis... or (and this is the whole reason for this post) Blues Brothers 2 with John Belushi so that I can pretend that abomination with John Goodman never happened! I don't blame the cast for that tragedy, I blame the people who agreed to make it.

Believe it or not back in the 70's when the technology was starting to be developed for virtual reality the Actors Guild and unions pasted laws from preventing it from being used.
The actors were afraid they would be replaced with VR!
Not sure where its gone to today. Of course most all the cartoon artist have been replaced.

Sure, but that would be a part of it right? Finding out who has the likeness rights... wouldn't the kids, or grandkids, or celebs want new content of their famous family members? especially if it led to new piles of cheddar!

I don't Waste my time by watching Re - make movies because I find myself spending too much of the time comparing them to the Original !!! Especially , Some of the Classics !!! 🤠

Oh I get that.... I was watching 'The Magnificent Seven', both versions, and the original was way better... but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't want to watch a new movie with Yul Brenner or Steve Mcqueen!
