I want to do bad things to you

There comes a day in summer that is much anticipated. I count the days down, the excitement building up. I patiently wait, I pray to Allah it comes sooner. I go to bed the night before this delightful day and stay up all night. It's True Blood time. Now, I'm not going all Twihard with shirts and shit. No. But as we speak I'm planted on my couch enjoying a HBO True Blood marathon, noshing on some Reese's and putting off cleaning. By the way, did I share that I moved? Yup yup! It was long overdue but I'm glad I bit the bullet.
A few observations about apartment living have been noted. Although I've been in apartments for a number of years before, this place is like a bad reality show waiting to happen. Although it's a fairly new complex, situated in a diverse location ( Mosque around the corner, little Asia behind me, and any number of hispanic markets within the area) it's a quiet area. The subtly affluent area is around me, low crime, and hell most of the conveniences I require i.e. Target, Whole Foods, and the like are within a 5 minute distance from me, my neighbors are CRAY. Sure we all have been there. It's just such an oddball mix. With the Mosque a block over, I do have a high number of Middle Eastern folks in the complex. The old ladies walk around in their burkas, whispering to my dogs as they pass me, " Nice puppies" and scurry off. There is a newly married Chinese couple in the town houses adjacent to my complex who frequently lose their elderly father who just walks around the neighborhood in his Nike warm up suit with no real direction. Until I find him somehow passing all the secured entrances sitting by the pool. There are some Koreans on the first floor who cannot grasp the concept of using the microwave. They seem to burn stuff every night of the week. The other day it was burnt pizza rolls and waffles. Last week scorched frozen burritos and pop tarts. And they pop the door open with a shoe so the entire floor smells like ass. I have several medical professionals that live in the building so it's not uncommon to see an intern lugging a huge backpack down the hall looking like a zombie from lack of sleep. The real catastrophes have been the ridonkulous train wrecks throwing Cops caliber fights in the court yard or the drug dealer who was arrested for dealing meth and such a building over. Tons of excitement.
So...tell me...what have you been up to?

All pretty girls are a trap, a pretty trap, and men expect them to be.

Lots of sleep.

Smart as a horse and hung like Einstein.
