My wife is bi, and likes the idea of a threesome with another bi woman. I think it would be really hot -- even if the other woman was only playing with my wife, but even better if she was also playing with me. If the third wasn't interested in playing with my wife I'd have to work a lot more to make sure neither my wife nor the guest felt shortchanged. The practical difficulties -- finding someone both interested in us and interesting to us, safety, etc. -- have prevented us from making it more than a hot fantasy.
