Sounds like things will soon be heating up for you... In the meantime... bundle up... right? 🔥Hot toddy with rum, perhaps? 🍵

Since I have absolutely no idea what a pellet stove is ..... I'm going with Paul's suggestion of hot toddies!

We're getting an early freeze here this week. Down in the 20's. Which pretty much sounds like instant death to me.

I do have firewood, central heat, and a couple of space heaters...so I'm gonna make it. Wondering how the puppy is going to like going out in the morning when it's 28. I know I'm not gonna be happy.

Sounds like a good deal on the stove.

Down here natural Gas is so cheap and super clean, it is just nice to just put it on 69 and let it run, ( 69 one number below70!!) cheaper that way , no ash, no smoke no fuel to handle. Still cold outside and will be 32 here in the AM.. and snow forecast for mid week..

Stop by at lonlyforlove2
also see Lunch with Lonly , we get snow tomorrow

Good move on the pellet stove, I know a few people who have them and love them... they have an auger so the pellets slowly feed themselves into the fire too, no shoveling required lol

There are many different kind of pellets, soft wood pellets and hard wood pellets. Different prices for both of them also. Usually can feed the hopper and good for 20-24 hours. Just heating the basement will also heat the floor up above but duct work is better. Can roast you out. Bait shop in Hayward, WI had one, and melted everything in sight. Vented just out the side of the wall. Some use corn instead of pellets. Feel less guilty using pellets than turning up the thermostat. Should be fun.
So $250 a ton, the last I checked with 50 40# bags. Watch the back.

I'm originally from Northern Minnesota so you would think I'd be used to our Winters. I've been wimping out there. LOL. My companion, a 4 year old Yellow Lab, loves it outside so I'm constantly having to bundle up to take her on several walks everyday no matter the weather.
