The dark side of Barbie And Ken's marriage
As if it was a surprise to anyone...
This is from a recent article about a photography session by Dina Goldstein, using Barbie and Ken dolls in familiar settings to tell this story !!!

 So many times I see Barbie stories where they depict her as a slut, in sex positions etc. I find it appalling to say the least. Some things should be left alone...well that is my piece of mind anyway.

The funny thing about that is the original Barbie doll was a copy of a doll the creator of Barbie saw on a German business trip. The doll was a sex joke among German business men as the huge breasts and heavy makeup was reminiscent of the prostitutes from the Rheperbahn(sp), a notorious red light district.

And this is the doll we give to our little girls to emulate

The "role models" they see on TV are even worse...
Kardasians, Paris Hilton, not to mention some of the guys....
