The Prison of my mind

I climb the walls of my mind.The sound of my thoughts raging below.Murky water that knows no end..still and stagnated with viscous misunderstanding.Icy wind splitting into my skin as I search for the sun in the mist of this storm.My heartbeat slows..cluttered by the pain tearing it in two.Blood pours from my wounds.Trying to find the truth veiled by the lies Ive told.You whisper but when I reach for you I lose my grip n reality.Slipping into the pool of no return below.The serpent coiling around me.The monster inside awakens as I drown.Screaming for someone to save me.But the creatures voice whispers you created me and now you will suffer at the hands of your own illusion.I fight in desperation.Crying.My tears falling like rain.
