I am a bit of a throw back guy. I unabashedly believe that our societies are missing a "Good Guy" character in the movies. A real "John Wayne" type actor . A man that could be rough and tumble, but seemed to be able to always do right by others. I was a fan of him and the message that came across the screen when I was a young fella and still am today. There was no "smoke and mirrors" in his movies, just straight forward good guy stuff. now days could use some one like the Duke. Some will whine that he was not a politically correct person or character, and I bet that is true and I found it refreshing. Do you think that he was a good actor? Do you enjoy watching the re runs? Would a current actor like him, in the movies and real life be good to have now?
