+++ Cheese Lover’s Day

One of my favorite days . Having grown up on a dairy farm, we always had cheese. Not a lot, but enough for family use. The specialty was New York extra sharp cheddar (since we were in upstate NY). Then throughout the years I have been exposed to so many different varieties and types. It is such a world embraced food. Basically where ever the hosts have a dairy supplying animal. Is cheese popular with you? Is there a specialty cheese in your area? If you do not enjoy cheese , please share your reason (s). Happy "Cheese Lover’s Day"

    Quoting  :

Having spent a lot of time in Wisconsin (especially visiting the Carr Valley cheese factory for ultra-fresh curds) eating so many wonderful things from 7-year aged cheddar to applewood smoked provolone ... then having spent a lot of time everywhere else, I have to say that I love Wisconsin cheese. Cheeses elsewhere ... not nearly as much. Wisconsin really spoils the palate! I miss Wisconsin.

Even an herb as sweet as basil is nothing without its bite.

In our area it's Cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Colby cheese's which is made by Hilmar Cheese Company. But this is my favorite cheese..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Finally! A food we can agree on! I love a large variety of cheeses from Gouda to Velveeta. We have a great MI cheese - Pinconning cheese. It's an aged colby-like cheese. mmm
