** How do you do it?
It is New Years Eve day, leading up to the universally celebrated entry to the New Year. There are so many ways to usher in the New Year. A big party in Times Square New York, or its equivalent where you are. A party with family and friends. A nice quiet time, preferably with your partner. I personally just call it a night earlier and watch all about it the next day on the news. Other than a couple times when I was younger, I just never feel the need to party tonight. I have no specific reason (s), it is not comfortable to me for some reason. I do understand that the majority do party hearty and I am happy that they have the opportunity to do so. What do you plan to do tonight? What was the wildest time you ever had on New Years Eve?

 I don't do anything special. It's always seemed like an odd random time to pick for a new year. Why not May 1?
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 The wildest time I ever had on a NYE was "in my previous life" as part of a swinging couple. We celebrated 3 New Year's Eves at our "club", and the one I remember most vividly was our 3rd, when we joined 2 other couples at a private home after the Club closed.

I won't reveal the details, but suffice to say 1 gentleman had imbibed a bit too much, and was "unable" to produce what was required to make my 1st DP a dismal failure. But the rest of the activities that night were certainly memorable.
