I got the first of the fresh sweet corn straight from the field yesterday and I will be a bit of a glutton this week . Around here the sweet corn going forward will be even more sweet and fresh. I am a bit of a snob for corn, I love it fresh . Straight from the corn field. The corn is juice and literally pops with each bite. I enjoy sharing it lusciousness with friends. As for cooking, boiling, cooked on the grill or in foil in the oven is good for me. And of course melted butter with a sprinkle of salt,, yummy. I am a bit biased, and consider the sweet corn here in New Jersey to be amongst the best. Do you enjoy sweet corn? How do you prepare it? Do you consider the corn where you are to be amongst the best?

 Love sweet corn. I boil it on the stove with salt n butter. I've even cooked it the grill.

 Had some peaches and cream corn in the husk on BBQ, was delicious. Will get more from farm stand. Yummy

 Looks wonderful. I cook my corn on the cob on the grill, schuck it first, wrap each ear in a paper towel, soak the paper towel with milk, wrap each ear separately in foil and cook along with the pork or steak on the grill for 30 minutes.

 I love corn on the cob. I love the fact that I can go up the road a-piece and buy just one fresh ear. I usually boil it cuz I don't have a grill.

I'll be honest, though ... the first thing I thought about when I saw your title was apples.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 I really don't eat a lot of corn, but I do enjoy it occasionally and yes fresh sweet corn is the best, especially when slathered in delicious real butter. I hope you enjoy your corn..
