Me on my vacation.

Driving 50 Miles in the dead of the night to the middle of nowhere. Taking the little dirt road off the dirt road off the paved road. No lights. No major city for hundreds of miles. Ice crystals crunching under feet. Narry a cloud in the sky. No moon. Stars everywhere. Milky way! Quiet.

A far cry from the warm Florida sun of the week before. Just as wonderful in its own way.

Met a friend at this roadside bar. He was walking in I was walking out. Went back in had a few drinks. But all he kept talking about was glory days.
