.........Greetings and Salutations!........As you may already know, I’m an Avid Reader,.........Both fiction and non,........And although I’ve been Leaning more towards the Non with my further Studies into the Events Encompassing The American Civil War,..........After a few thousand pages of massive troop movements, horrendous conditions, horrific battles, and a staggering amount of casualties, and I’m ready for something a little more Light Hearted,.........I know that I can Always count on Stephen King for a Tale or Two of Terror,.........As for the book in the Above Picture (It’s there look closely!) is an Old Favorite of Mine by Tom Wolfe titled “The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test”..........If you’ve never read this particular book then it’s a Rabbit Hole back to the Pop Culture of Nineteen Sixties America,........This Sinners Highly Recommends it!...........

 Steven King is a bit difficult for me to get into, though I have read "Carrie" and "Eyes of the Dragon". The movie adaptations of his books I do like, but being as how they're movies, there's that whole *creative licensing* thing that doesn't do the book(s) justice.

I will agree that he's an excellent author if you're into books that will give you great visualizations, delve deep into subjects that most authors (IMH can't or won't touch, and most likely give you many a sleepless night... because of the psychological disturbances you just read in one of his books.

He was once quoted about how he's able to write such graphic visuals. His response (paraphrased): "I have the heart of a little boy, and beats loudly, in a bell jar on my desk."

 I cant STAND Stephen King and I dont care if he is from my state. The only tome of his I liked was"Dumas Key" Oh and "Thinner" was funny. When I saw your post title I was praying there wouldnt be something creepy crawly. Love you choice of book- it's a real memory trip

 I've been too lazy to go to the library, and although I recently got 2 new books in the mail, was going a bit "wingy" because I couldn't get into them. I NEED something that catches my interest, so I can't put it down.

On the other hand, since there things I Must Do, I've been holding off on reading, to be used as a reward when I get those things done.

Didn't work. I know It's fucked up, but I clearly Go Insane if I don't read.
