This is -- to borrow a phrase -- a fair and balanced discussion of friends with benefits. As you note, the desire for friendly flesh contact is a human one, albeit fraught with hazards. With communication and honesty -- both with oneselves and each other -- these arrangements can work. But honesty and communication take work: People forget that, with any other friendship, there has to be effort. Absent effort, at least one person involved is treating the interaction as a fuck buddy situation. Which is fine, but acknowledge what it is, and let both people make informed decisions about whether or not to participate. Well considered! Thank you for continuing to be part of the virtual symposium!  And as always, come again!

- There is so much emotional value intertwined with a partner who enjoys sex as much as you. However, there are others simply set to cum forth with their need to just do it because they share their need for sex. It's finding the balance and letting forth with some sense of communication that will determine how so-called friends with benefit one another when it comes to swimming under sheets. Well you have a better notion of what a friend with benefits is with most guys I have encountered. I really have seen little more than what amounts to fuck buddies for the most part. I liked GardenBoy's take on being a FWB or a lover. He prefers being a lover. Which would you prefer?
